About Us

Located in the city of Bathurst, NSW, Peter Rogers Real Estate has been the leader in property sales in this city for over a decade.

Bathurst is situated approximately 200kms west of Sydney. It is a comfortable two and a half hours drive and three and a half hours from the National Capital, Canberra.

The City of Bathurst is the oldest inland settlement in Australia. It was proclaimed a town in 1815 and, with the discovery of gold, experienced rapid growth in the 1850s and 1860s.

In 1988 Peter Rogers purchased the Real Estate business where he had worked for five years and changed the name to Peter Rogers Real Estate. He started off with his wife Shelley and hired a sales person Kevin Keogh whilst Kevin carries on his work with Peter Rogers today. This on its own says a lot for the morale and friendly environment in the office.

From its humble beginnings in 1988 Peter Rogers Real Estate had become the number one residential Real Estate office in Bathurst, a title they have managed to maintain every year since those early years.

In July 2004 Michael & Stacey Whittaker became partners of Peter Rogers Real Estate. Their plan is to continue to grow the office and increase the level of service provided as well as keeping a breast of the latest real estate marketing trends.

Michael & Stacey introduced a commercial and industrial department to the office and in the last two years has become one of the leading agents in this area of real estate in Bathurst. This department is controlled by Karen Ireland who has built an amazing reputation in a short time.

The Property Management department has continued to grow and is now one of the biggest property management departments in the Bathurst real estate market. We currently employ a property manager Janelle Manders, Three property Officers Karen Margieson, Ruth Fayle & Andrea Wills and a Property Management accounts manager Kay Hanrahan.

Peter Rogers real estate now has eighteen staff working under its banner and is a household name in Bathurst. A drive around the city of Bathurst will soon show their dominance. The large number of signs displayed on numerous properties for sale, or a quick chat with the local people asking them who they prefer for successful sale of their real estate.
